Keythedral and Antike at SiS

Only five of us at SiS tonight. I got Keythedral for Christmas last month and have been itching for another play at it. I've got the rules down pretty much, but I'm still not happy with the way the game starts. If you set your cottages and fields poorly in the beginning, you might suffer shortages throughout the game. There really ought to be a "beginners" setup, like in Settlers of Catan, where everyone gets a reasonably even start. I searched BGG for such a setup and no one has posted one. looks like I'll need to create my own.

Next we played Antike. I probably should not have won this one. I made several poor choices but was still able to stay even or one step ahead of Jeff. Ian, stuck in the middle of the board, built too many of his temples too close to me. I was able to destroy two of them. In the end, Ian could not win, but could be kingmaker. He chose to attack Jeff to guarantee a 2nd place for himself. At least I'm getting a better handle on the movement and combat rules for sacking a city and destroying temples.
